Payment – At the time of ordering payment can be made by switch, delta or credit card (excluding Amex or Diners). Payment may also be made by cheque or postal order, goods will be despatched on receipt of cleared funds. All goods remain the property of Artisan Bread Ltd until full payment of the invoice price has been received.

Substitution – If an item you ordered is not available a substitute may be used to complete an order. A member of staff will endeavour to contact you to explain the situation and, where necessary, discuss the possible alternatives. In the absence of instructions to the contrary, an appropriate substitute will be made, providing we are confident that it is of either equal or greater value as the item ordered.

Damaged or Missing Items – If on delivery any goods are missing or damaged you must report this to us within 3 days of receipt. Please open and examine cases on arrival and indicate any problems on the courier’s sheet. If you request a delivery to be left without a signature, Artisan Bread Original cannot be held responsible for claims of non-delivery.

Cancellation & Returns – Artisan Bread Original produces bread to order and we reserve the right not to accept cancellation of orders for food items once your order has been confirmed with a delivery date. Due to the fresh nature of the product we cannot accept returns for food items. For non-food items you may cancel your order within 7 days of the goods being delivered. All non-food items must be returned to Artisan Bread Original unopened and undamaged with delivery costs at the expense of the buyer. Once the goods are returned the appropriate sum will be refunded.

VAT – Value Added Tax at the current rate is included in the price of non-food items and for delivery where applicable. Food items are zero-rated for VAT.

Data Protection – Information is held for the purpose of maintaining customer records. Artisan Bread Original undertakes to discharge its duties under current legislation. Your I.P. address will be recorded when creating an account and placing an order, but Artisan Bread Original does not store credit card information.
