Artisan Bread Original - Delivery areas, calendar and carriage charges

We can deliver to England and Wales, UK mainland, Scotland and Islands as detailed below, we do not currently deliver bread to the public outside the UK. Payment is accepted for transactions in GBP Sterling only.

Please include alternate delivery instructions when placing your order, for example: "leave with neighbour at No. 23" or "leave in garage". Artisan Bread Ltd. cannot be held responsible for claims of non-delivery if you request to have your parcel left somewhere without a signature, please consider having a delivery to a business address if you are not in all day.

Please also state If you require a specific delivery delivery date: deliveries are despatched by courier on Thursdays and Mondays (Tuesdays after bank holidays) to arrive at UK mainland and Scottish lowland addresses the next day (see below for other delivery times). Unless you specify when ordering, the next available delivery date will be allocated.

Carriage charges for bread delivery

Bread is delivered to your address in England or Wales by courier at a cost of £3.95 GBP (inc. VAT) on Fridays or Tuesdays (Wednesdays if the Monday is a bank holiday) between 9 am and 4 pm with a minimum order of bread worth £10.00 GBP or more (there is an additional charge for Scotland, see below).

Delivery is free for orders of bread over 14.4 Kg.

We will send you an email confirming your delivery date when we have processed your order.

Bread crock or knife delivery

The artisan bread crock and knife/crumb tray are subject to a delivery charge of £3.95 as above unless ordered with a minimum 14.4 Kg bread order, when the delivery is free.

Delivery for blood test kits

Blood test kits include free postage by Royal Mail first class post, and also return postage to the lab. The shop automatically charges for delivery on all orders placed, but any postage charged by the shop for blood test kits ordered without other products will be refunded.

Bread deliveries to Scotland

Scottish main cities not covered by Highlands postcodes (listed below) will incur a small extra charge of £3.15 for all deliveries, making the standard bread order delivery charge £7.10, or £3.15 for bread orders over 14.4 Kg.

Scottish Highlands and Islands postcodes AB, IV, KW, PA21 to 39, PH15 to 41 will be charged an additional £13.65 (minimum delivery charge £17.6) and may take up to 2 days.
