| This is a laboratory test that can be done from a home blood collection kit. It will find your ABO blood group (A, B, AB, O), your Rhesus (D) blood group (Rhesus positive/negative) and your A subgroup (A1, A2, if your blood group is A or AB).
Test contents:

- Blood collection container with preservative
- Single-use lancets X 2
- Sterile swab
- Mailing container
- Plastic bag for return of used lancets
- Laboratory request form
- Prepaid return mailing envelope (UK freepost)
Send a few drops of blood from your finger to the laboratory and we will send your blood group and subgroup by post. Normal turnaround time approx. 1 week.
Can be used when following the blood group diet (as detailed in the book Eat Right 4 Your Type) by Dr. Peter D'Adamo. To get your secretor status tested at the same time and using the same sample, we have a combined ABO, A subgroups, Rhesus D and Lewis (secretor) test kit.
Delivery: this shop will charge for delivery on all orders placed, but blood test kits have free delivery, so any orders placed for blood test kits only (without other products) will have the delivery charge refunded after checkout.
Please note: The results are for educational purposes only and not be used to determine blood group for transfusion purposes. Subgroups of A can only be determined on individuals with blood groups A or AB, and not on individuals with blood groups B or O.
