This is a combined laboratory test that can be done from a home blood collection kit. It will find your ABO blood group (A, AB, B, O), your Rhesus status (Rh positive, Rh negative), your A subgroups (A1, A2, A1B, A2B) and your Lewis blood group (Lewis a, Lewis b).
Your ABH secretor status (whether you secrete your ABO antigens) can be determined from your Lewis blood group unless you are Lewis negative (Lea-), (Leb-): about 5% of individuals.

Send a few drops of blood from your finger to the laboratory and we will send your blood grouping results by post. Normal turnaround time approx. 1 week from receipt of your sample.

Please note: The results are for educational purposes only. If your Lewis blood group is Lewis negative you may wish to purchase a saliva secretor status test at additional cost to find out if you are a secretor or non-secretor, details will be included in your test results. Being Lewis negative has specific dietary and health implications in addition to your salivary secretor status.
